Tiles! Our fall
fundraiser was a success. Thanks to
all who helped make the tiles: Shannon Casey, Michelle Grove, Terri Wilson,
The Beck family, Betty Rooms (and her grandson!) and Martha Tillson. Thanks to Linda Roll, Betty Rooms, Terri
Wilson, and Kevin Minney for freezing their behinds off selling the tiles
and split the pot tickets. We got
some much needed money as well as some recognition in the community. We will not be holding a dance in
February, so everyone get ready to sell ads for the program! Shameless

judging system was put on hold. One of the new projects that ACT is
promoting is a pamphlet that would list all ACT member theatres with
pertinent information. This
pamphlet would be available to not only the individual member groups for
distribution, but also to the various tourism bureaus. To cover the cost of
this pamphlet, there will be a fund raiser held in February or March at
Union Terminal.
There will be 10 groups of 6 people each.
Each group will have to write their segment (15 minutes) in the
style that they are assigned (mystery, comedy, farce, etc.) Each
of the participants will pay to participate: the fee will go to pay for whatever props/costumes are needed.
On the last day, the show will be performed at Union Terminal. Audience
members will also pay to see this show. It is anticipated, that with good publicity, ACT can
raise the amount needed to print the pamphlet. OCTA News Work is still underway for the 2004 State Labor Day weekend. Mark your calendar now to attend! Don’t forget about the logo design contest for OCTA. Submissions will be accepted until
February, and then 3 to 5 entries will be on the website and voting will
take place until May. Next Membership Meeting Please plan on attending our next meeting February 4th
7:30 PM at the 131 Craftmall. See
you there! Don’t forget to check out our website at
